There is an Armistice Day on the horizon that will satisfy humanity’s desire for military arms to be laid down once and for all. It will encompass the true meaning of the word, i.e. to stand still. It will not be a temporary state of laying down of weapons for peace. Our God has promised us our Armistice Day when there will be no more wars. Isaiah prophesied the following concerning the last days.

Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above

Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

When this day arrives we will “stand still” or “stand down” because our God Yeshua will do it all for us. There is nothing we can do that will bring an end to war. The source of war must be destroyed. Satan organized the first war and it was against God. Because of this, Satan and a third of the angels that sided with him were thrown out of God’s heaven. He, Satan and his fallen angels have been warring against God ever since, and teaching the human race how to war.

This spiritual war between Satan and The Most High manifests in the outbreak of wars on this earth. Satan is the source behind the empires that want to conquer and rule the world. He is the source that will give the false Messiah his power, when he arrives on the scene to conquer the nations for a one world government.

Be of good cheer saints, we will have a one world government alright, King Yeshua will rule and the government that sits upon His shoulders will be ruled in righteousness and truth. His law will be the law of Love. The good news is a day will come when Yeshua will bind Satan and the false Messiah, throw them into the lake of fire, and Satan will never again be able to teach the inhabitants of the earth how to war against one another.

All the enemies of God will be cast away. Only those that have been written in the book of life shall remain to enter a world of peace unlike this world has ever known. There will be no more weapons of wars, for Love will be the supreme law of the day.

Before this awesome “Day of the Lord” when the nations shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks, there will be unfortunately a great price paid for His Shalom that is governed by love. Yeshua paid the price on the cross for individual peace granted to the hearts of those who believe in Him. This sacrifice cost Him everything and He willingly paid it.

World peace is another matter. World peace will only come at the loss of many lives. Darkness and Light cannot coexist together in peace. Therefore a fierce battle between Yeshua and the inhabitants of the earth who oppose Him will ensue. The loss of lives will be insurmountable, entire nations will be wiped out for rejecting the Son of God and His Love. The number of lives lost in all the previous wars will pale by comparison when the King of Righteous comes and brings with Him his just reward.

Before Yeshua rids the world of all the powers of darkness that has hated Him and His Bride, the Bible foretells of several end time wars that will take place leading into the final conflict. The nations for these wars are lining up for battle as I write.

The wars of Isaiah 17, Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 & 39 are yet to be fulfilled before the “war that will end all wars”, Armageddon, makes headline news. These end time wars are spiritual wars between the “powers of darkness” and “The Light of the World”, Yeshua. These final wars will end with an Armistice, an armistice gotten by the hand of Yeshua. There will be “peace on earth” for a thousand years according to the Bible.

The book “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” turned the tide of the Civil War do to it’s Christian content of being an over comer. It became the best selling book of its time, next to the Bible. There is another book that I am certain can turn the tide for each of us during these last days.

The title of that book is, “Holy Bible”. This wonderful best selling book tells the future in advance and also instructs us how to be over comers. It will give you hope for the wonderful future that the Lord has planned for all those that are called by His name. As the days get darker and darker, do not lose hope for Yeshua is our Armistice Day! Hallelujah! Come, Lord Jesus Come!

Pray for America!

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peacable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptble in the sight of God our Savior.

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (Yeshua)

Memorial Day in May is a day that has been set aside to honor our military. This got me to thinking, what is the difference between Memorial Day, and Veterans Day, which is another day that we set aside to honor our military. Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day because it was a day that was set aside to decorate the graves of those who died in the Civil War.

The civil war was triggered by many conflicts in the country; slavery was not the only issue, albeit the main issue. There were conflicts of economic and social divisions between the North and the South. Two camps arose, some arguing for greater states rights and others arguing that the federal government needed to have more control. Court room decisions arose restricting the rights of slaves. A best selling book, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, written to show the evils of slavery turned the tide, proving how affective the written word can be. Upon researching the subject I could not but notice that the issues that America faces today is dividing the country in much the same way it was divided prior to the Civil War.

As history marched on Memorial Day became a day to honor anyone who has died in our military serving our Nation. There is a price to be paid for freedom. We owe our freedom to the men and woman who have paid that price by sacrificing their lives so that the rest of us may be free.

There were a total of 65,000.000 summoned from various countries for war. The casualty rate was at an astounding 57% world wide. America lost 53,400 soldiers. The war was triggered by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne. He was shot in July 1914 by a Serbian nationalist group "The Black Hand". Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, which prompted Russia to side with Serbia.

Archduke Franz Ferdinand

This is not surprising because it became known that the Serbian nationalist group was sponsored by Russia. France sided with Russia, Germany declared war on France, and invaded through Belgium which caused Britain to declare war on Germany. The engagements of war were very complicated due to the huge tension in Europe at that time as the great empires were shifting and changing. Serbia paid a high price for the seed that was sown triggering this all out war. She lost 16% of her population; which was the highest casualty rate per capita of any nation involved.

The history of Veterans Day is quite interesting. In the 11th month, on the 11th day and at 11:00 AM of the year 1918, an armistice was called ending World War I. At the time this war was considered “the war to end all wars”, and an armistice gave the world a hope for peace again. Originally November 11th was called Armistice Day. The original intent of Armistice Day, here in the states, was to have a day of remembrance for those who lost their lives in World War 1. The day was spent with parades to honor the soldiers. At 11:00 AM businesses closed and a moment of silence was observed.

As I said, Armistice Day was set aside on November 11th 1918 to honor the casualties of World War 1. It remained Armistice Day until 1954 when President Eisenhower changed the day to Veterans Day. It was after the lost of so many lives during World War II and the Korean War that the name was changed in order to include and honor all Veterans that have served in the armed forces of the United States.

Two main campaigns ignited World War II. First in 1937 Japan invaded China and then on September of 1939 Hitler, who had been secretly building his army, invaded Poland. On December 7th 1941 the United States of America was brought into the war when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and Germany and Italy declared war on the US four days later. Our military was sent into both theaters.

Estimates for the casualties and loss of life for World War II vary greatly. It has been basically established that between 60,000,000 and 80,000,000 people lost their lives, including civilians. This means that somewhere between 3.5 and 4% of the population of the world was wiped out. The United States records loosing 292,000 people in combat, which is a staggering number compared to the losses recorded for the fist world war. Per capita the statistical data records 0.32% for the U.S. The country hardest hit was the Soviet Union, loosing between 20,000,000 and 30,000,000 people, making the per capita loss at around 14%. China followed with a loss of between, 10,000,000 and 20,000,000, which calculates between 2 and 4% per capita. Germany records between 7,000,000 and 9,000,000 losses, making their per capita at around 8 to 10%.

Both World Wars involved over 100 countries, every country of the known world at the time of these wars was involved in one way or another. Although an Armistice was called ending the First World War, within 20 years Germany was on the move again ignoring the Treaty of Versailles; which the German people thought was too restrictive for their country. Historians tell us that the Second World War was a continuation of the First World War. Germany’s Hitler gained his strength because the war torn countries of the first war were not inclined to enter into war again, they longed for peace. Peace for them however was short lived. The Armistice did not bring the peace that the people were hoping for and Germany and Japan had to be stopped.

The word Armistice is from the Latin, arma and sisto, meaning to stand still. Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines the word: “A cessation of arms, for a short time, by convention; a truce; a temporary suspension of hostilities by agreement of the parties”. Armistice by its very definition is temporary. The intention of an Armistice is for peace, but history proves it to be temporary. The reality is that the motivation for war has not yet been defeated. At best an Armistice gives the nations a reprieve. History records this reprieve as a time that nations rebuild their military and their strategy to conquer; just as Hitler did.

Sound the Alarm !!!!!

"Blow you the trumpet in Zion,

and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:

let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:

for the day of the LORD comes,

for it is near at hand" Joel 2:1
