Sweet Manna From Heaven that is Hidden in Plain Sight
John 15:1 I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away. And every one that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean through the Word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered. And they gather and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
As the days get darker and prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes, it comes more and more apparent that we must cling to the vine, and that “Vine” is Jesus. At the time that Jesus made these statements, there was at the entrance of the temple four columns. A very beautiful and artistic golden grapevine was draped over the four columns. It was known as a “marvel” because of its size, artistry, and cost of the materials used for its construction. The people would often purchase a golden leaf or cluster of leaves and the priests would attach these leaves to the vine. Often times those that were the most generous in their giving would have their names inscribed on the golden leaves. Jesus was obviously making a distinction between this artificial vine and Himself as the real vine. His plea was if his disciples would offer themselves to the same degree that the people offer their wealth to the golden vine, then the result would be abundant spiritual fruit. Let us be branches that are producing succulent affluent fruit.
The Beginning of Sorrows: Yeshua was asked what to look for to indicate that His return was near. As recorded in Matt: 24, He answered, …And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
Let me draw your attention to the phrase, “kingdom against kingdom. This I believe is a reference to Isaiah’s prophecy in chapter 19 that reads as follows: The burden against Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud, And will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. 2 "I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, And everyone against his neighbor, City against city, kingdom against kingdom. 3 The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, And they will consult the idols and the charmers, The mediums and the sorcerers. 4 And the Egyptians I will give Into the hand of a cruel master, And a fierce king will rule over them," Says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah prophesied in chapter 17 of the complete demise of the ancient city of Damascus. The prophecy states that Damascus will cease to be a city. Historians tell us that this prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. Damascus has remained as a city for 5,000 years. As the civil war in Syria escalates and with Russia supplying combat helicopters and other weapons of war, one has to ask, “Is this the final hour of the ancient city”. The End of the Age is Pictured in the Fall Feasts. It is our belief that the fall feasts paint a picture of the need to repent before the return of our Lord. They speak of the gates of heaven being opened; we see this as the rapture. They also speak of the book of life being opened, the wedding day of the Messiah and the Coronation of the King. The feasts speak of the coming of the Messiah to judge the people of the earth on a day that the blasts of the trumpet will be heard. We see this as His second coming. Finally they paint a picture of a joyous time when the Bride of Christ will rule and reign with Him for a thousand years. Three main themes are emphasized in the celebration of these appointed times. They are Repentance, Redemption and Rejoicing.

As we watch the Nations of the world gather around Israel in a battle for its capital, Jerusalem, we must remember the prophecy in the Bible that assures us that the Lord Himself will not leave His people defenseless. Although many lives will be lost and great devastation will be upon the earth before the Lord intervenes. He has promised to fight this final battle for Israel Himself. It will be Yeshua who will return to the same area where He ascended 2,000 years ago. He will descend like a “Super Hero”, who has come to save the day. His feet when they land on the Mount of Olives will probably cause an earthquake because scripture says the Mountain will be split in two from the east to the west.
Jerusalem is the city of the King of Kings and it will be at this time in history when He will rule in righteousness from His city. It will be the end of an age as we know it, and the beginning of a period of time that is know as the millennium. The millennium is a thousand year period when the Lord will restore the quality of life on the earth as it was intended to be before sin entered the picture.
